Hall of Fame
Entry to the North Carolina Pork Council Hall of Fame is the highest honor the organization bestows. The Hall of Fame recognizes those persons with long and outstanding service to North Carolina’s pork industry and the North Carolina Pork Council.
1. Long-standing contributions of the nominee to the pork industry through research, education, management and/or leadership ability to pork producing and/or agricultural organizations.
2. Long-standing contributions of the nominee to the North Carolina Pork Council and involvement in its programs and events, including leadership roles and volunteer support.
3. Contributions of the nominee to family and community including church/civic activities and volunteer efforts.
4. Awards or special recognitions received as they relate to the nominee’s involvement in pork production and agriculture.
5. PQA Plus and/or TQA certified, as well as PQA Plus site assessment if applicable.
6. Nominee’s record of environmental compliance if applicable.
Eligibility
Majority vote of the Awards Committee.
