Dr. Roger Crickenberger — NC Agricultural Research Service, NC State University
Dr. Roger Crickenberger is the manager of special projects for the NC Agriculture Research Service. Prior to his position with the Research Service, he worked for over 25 years with the NC Cooperative Extension Service. Roger received his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and holds his doctorate in ruminant nutrition from Michigan State University. He has published numerous agricultural articles and proceedings and has traveled internationally to learn more about international agriculture and economics and animal waste, odor management and related policy issues. He is responsible for support personnel budget managment, commodity organization research funding programs, commodity field days, ag programs contracts and grants management, integration of research and extension programs, and facilitating new research initiatives in the college. In addition to serving on the NC Pork Council’s board, Roger is the chairman of the Council’s research committee.
