Jane says she can’t ever see herself not being a sow farm manager. She wants to do this job until she no longer can! Originally from Clinton, right down the road, Jane grew up in agriculture surrounded by wheat, corn and cows.
When she was in high school, she was in FFA and at the time, FFA students were allowed to have agriculture-related jobs during some school hours. Jane began working for Murphy in the 11th grade. She’s been at this for 36 years. She loves her team and says they work hard, are easy to train, and overall, she has an awesome staff. People and pigs are the highlight of her job. When she’s not working, she loves to travel to new places and spend time with family.
Join us in congratulating Jane Munoz, our first Person Behind Pork, where we recognize amazing boots on the ground farm employees from across the state.
Our very first People Behind Pork highlighting boots on the ground pig farm employees had much success. We are so excited to highlight more hard workers across the state throughout the year.
