Denise Waller Mason has been with Maxwell Foods, a division of Goldsboro Milling Company, since 1995. Although trained in most areas of production, her responsibilities have included boar stud manager and AI division director. Denise is currently the training and development coordinator. This job allows her to work directly with manager-trainees and new employees while focusing on developing their leadership skills as well as animal husbandry and studmanship. In addition, Denise is a Pork Quality Assurance certified advisor and instructor and a certified CPR instructor with the American Red Cross. As a third-generation pig farmer in Wayne County, Denise believes in educating all communities and youth about sustainable farming in all areas of agriculture.
