What is this form of H1N1 flu?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says this virus is a mix of human, bird and pig viruses, and has not been previously found in either people or pigs.

Do your animals have it?

At this time, the CDC says there is no evidence that this virus is present in pigs in the United States.

Can people get it from eating pork?

The CDC says H1N1 flu viruses are not transmitted by food. You can not get H1N1 flu from eating pork or pork products. The CDC has determined that this virus is contagious and is spreading from humans to humans.
