Dr. Todd See - College of Agriculture & Life Sciences - NC State University

Dr. Todd See is head of the animal science department at NC State University. He has developed internationally recognized educational programs in swine genetics and management. He has given 51 invited presentations on swine genetics and swine production and has taken an active role in the development and delivery of educational programs via the Internet. Todd works closely with all types and sizes of NC pork producers providing highly specialized educational programs. His programs have resulted in over 380 articles and publications, and he has been the recipient of the Swine Industry Award for Innovation on three occasions. He was named Outstanding Young Animal Scientist in 2004 by the American Society of Animal Science, received the Lois G. Britt Service Award in 2006 from the NC Pork Council and received the Outstanding Extension Service Award in 2009 from NC State University. In addition to serving on the NC Pork Council's board, Todd is chairman of the annual conference committee, a member of the producer education and communications committee, research committee, and summer student internship committee.
