Tim Craig

Tim Craig owns a 750 farrow-to-finish sow farm and a 4500 head finishing facility. Along with the farming operation he grows cornsilage, hay and soybeans. He also is owner/manager/operator of Craig & Company, LLC a grading company originally founded by his family approximately 60 years ago. Tim was the sounding voice along with the Chatham County Agribusiness Council (CCAC) to challenge the Chatham County Health Department when they tried to legally govern local farms in the county. The case was taken to the NC Supreme Court where it was ruled in favor of Tim and the CCAC. Tim has served as VP of the CCAC. He is a graduate of NC State University. In addition to serving on the NC Pork Council's board, Tim is a member of the Council's producer education and communications committee and promotions committee. He has been a lifelong member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.
