Reggie Strickland

Reginald (Reggie) Strickland was born in Sampson County to Garrett and June Strickland. Reggie earned his associate of applied science degree from NC State University in December 1987 in agribusiness management. He has been involved with agriculture all of his life. Strickland Farming consists of Reggie, his father Garrett and his wife Laura. They grow approximately 3,000 acres of row crops in Sampson, Wayne and Duplin counties and raise finishing swine for Prestage Farms, Inc. They are partners in Southern Bales Gin and Cotton Company. Reggie presently sits on the board of directors at the gin. He also sits on the board of directors of the NC Soybean Producers Association and the Public Policy committee of the NC Pork Council and the NC State Agricultural Institute Alumni committee. Reggie says he is married to his greatest asset - Laura Hill Strickland from Mount Olive. They have two children; daughter, Savannah is 11 years old and son, Grayson is eight years old. They now live in Mount Olive. Reggie enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and spending time with family.
