Roddy Purser

Roddy Purser farms on his family farm in Anson County. White Rock Farms includes 6,600 sows, farrow-to-wean; 44,000 breeder hens; 100 brood cows; 200 meat goats; and 400 acres of grass/hay crops. Roddy has a B.A. degree in social science economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is active in the Murphy-Brown Producers Council and serves on the Board of Directors of Anson County Cattleman’s Association. Roddy was a pilot participant of the Pork Producers Environmental Management System sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources. He also completed North Carolina State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Agricultural Leadership Development Program.
