Mark Daughtry

Mark Daughtry has been employed by Prestage Farms for 27 years starting out as a serviceman and currently holding the position as the Sow Production Manager. He earned his degree in animal science from NC State University. Mark has an 800 sow farrow to wean operation as well as nine finishing floors contracted with Prestage Farms since 1989. Mark is very active in his community serving as the PTO President of Hobbton High School for the past two years and also serving on the advisory committee for the livestock and poultry technology curriculum at Sampson Community College. He was the 2009 recipient of the North Carolina Pork Council Environmental Steward Award and a 2010 National Environmental Steward recipient.
