John Froehlich

John Froehlich is a nursery/finishing head serviceman for Maxwell Foods, Inc. in Goldsboro, NC. He has been involved in swine production for 23 years with experience in sow farm production, nurseries and finishing operations. He has been working with Maxwell Foods, Inc. for 21 years where he works with the day to day operation of nursery and finishing operations. He works with contract producers on a day to day basis on proper husbandry practices, livestock management and improved best management practices for their facilities. He also helps with the Indiana nursery finishing operations. John was born and raised in NC where he has a farming background. He graduated from Southern Wayne High School and went on to graduate from Wayne Community College with a degree in poultry and livestock science. In addition to serving on the NC Pork Council's board, John is a member of the producer education and communication committee and research committee.
