Dawn Williamson

Dawn Williamson is employed by Murphy-Brown, LLC as a management systems manager with responsibility for the company’s implementation of the ISO 14001 EMS standards for certification, and providing guidance to other current and future management systems within Murphy-Brown. Additionally, Dawn oversees project work of the Waterkeepers Consent Agreement and acts as a liaison to wildlife conservation groups and agencies that are managing enhancement projects on Murphy-Brown farm properties. Prior to her project management role, Dawn worked as a technical specialist for the company as well as state and local government. She graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a bachelor of science degree in animal and dairy science. A strong interest in the swine industry brought her to NC, the day after graduation, where she worked for several years in production as a farm manager and training manager. Dawn continues to stay close to the production side of the industry, as she and her husband, Charles Allen of Indiana, co-own two sow farms in southern Sampson County. The family lives on one of the farms near Garland. She has represented NC as a national pork producers council delegate at Pork Forum.
