Don Butler - National Pork Producers Council Board

Don Butler is director of government relations and public affairs for Murphy-Brown LLC. For 20 years, Don has been involved with pork production. He is the immediate past president and currently on the board of directors of the National Pork Producers Council. He is past chairman and continues to serve on the board of directors of the Animal Agriculture Alliance. In addition to serving on the NC Pork Council's board, Don is a member of the Council's executive committee, budget committee, and public policy committee. He is past president of the North Carolina Pork Council. He also serves on the board of the Foundation for Soil and Water Conservation. On a local level, Don is on the board of the Sampson County Friends of Agriculture as well as a member of the Bladen County Livestock Association. Butler has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology.
