Ben Outlaw

Ben Outlaw was born and raised in Kinston, NC. He graduated from NC State University. Ben was an independent purebred producer for twenty years. He has been employed with L.L. Murphrey Co. for eleven. He also has a finishing operation that is leased and that has Prestage Farms pigs in it. Ben traveled to Czech Republic and Romania as a volunteer to help former government owned farms be more competitive after privatization. In addition to serving on the NC Pork Council's board, Ben has served on the Council's promotions, internship and awards committees. Presently he is serving on the promotions and public policy committees as well as the NCPC PAC board.
