Ben Outlaw

Ben Outlaw was born and raised in Kinston, NC. He attended NC State University. Ben was an independent purebred producer for twenty years. He has been employed with L.L. Murphrey Co. for six years. He also has a finishing operation that is leased and that has Prestage Farms pigs in it. Ben traveled to Czech Republic and Romania as a volunteer to help former government owned farms be more competitive after privatization. In addition to serving on the NC Pork Council's board, Ben is a member of the Council's promotions committee and chairman of the summer student internship committee. He is a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church and serves on the finance committee and as a deacon.
